Nurtured by his work as a film composer, Pierre Lefeuvre's inspiration for his Saycet project could have been sucked in by the tenfold means at his disposal, or led astray by a formulaic approach synonymous with repetition. While the French musician and producer has learned a lot in recent years, he has retained a certain creative candor and an artistic ideal rooted in a moving vision of the world around him. Imbued with a powerful ethereal warmth, Vibration is a new track that perfectly illustrates the blurring of boundaries between machines and naturalism, melodic science and evocative power. Composed in residence on the Scottish island of Arran, this track is bathed in natural material captured on site, adding to this powerful anthem a form of emotional overcoming typical of Nordic seascapes. Vibration plays gracefully with climbs and lulls, hiding a deep musical melancholy in the form of a refuge between the lines of assertive minimalism.
Composed to close Just Philippot's film Acide, Futures opens a bright, hopeful window into the director's dark, dystopian world. The piece embraces its classical heritage, offering the chorus of four female singers epiphanic pop flights. Also presented in an Acapella version, Futures follows in the footsteps of Pierre Lefeuvre's Messa Solaris, an exclusive creation for the Château de Versailles in 2019. This alternative version, which predates the one featured on Acide, takes on the trappings of an airy, secular mass.
French producer and DJ Calling Marian offers Vibration a physical remix, halfway between acid techno and trance, while sublimating the emotional potential of the original track. Madben, champion of dark, polished techno, turns Futures on its head and plunges it into a bath of acidic, structured rhythms, giving it a hypnotic club re-reading.

pushing towards the logical fulfillment of his destiny as a musician, composer and producer. A backward evolution away from our current era, which churns out artists non-stop. A path that has made him a figurehead in the French electronic music landscape....more
